Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.......

Haa, perasaan untuk menulis kembali semula di ruangan blog yang dah pun berhabuk dan bersawang penuh ini. Sudah lebih dua tahun tak menulis di sini, jadi sempena Hari Raya Aidilfitri tahun ini kita kembali la merancakkan lagi blog ni. Bukan ada siapa datang dan baca pun. It's just for my safekeeping in the future when I am older and full of wrinkles I might come back and visit this page. So, what's the story? Lets start with what I am grateful for this year's raya. 

Pertama sekali, syukur Alhamdulillah tahun ini dapat balik beraya di kampung halaman aku iaitu Terengganu. Walaupun dua tahun sebelum ni memang raya dalam tempoh perintah kawalan pergerakan tapi penggiliran untuk balik kampung siapa tu tetap di kira juga and tahun ni giliran tu jatuh kepada pihak aku lah. Anak-anak pun teruja nak balik beraya di kampung, ye lah sudah dua tahun terperuk di rumah sahaja pada musim perayaan. We were so grateful to Allah, for giving us the opportunity to celebrate raya with my mother and grandmother and in addition we managed to buka puasa  together with them and my siblings on the last day of Ramadhan as well. Seronok sangat. 

Raya Terkejut: OH NO! Tiada Makanan Raya 

Okay, this year's Raya was so hilariously chaotic! When they make the announcement that the first Raya would be on Monday, May 2nd instead of the next day we were all shocked, and furthermore, we were completely not ready at all. The plan was, that we were going to do all the ketupat and rendang on Monday but since Monday is the first day of Raya we ended up with no Raya delicacies. Great! So, no ketupat, no rendang, no nasi dagang whatsoever on the first day of Raya. So sad. 

Team Purple VS Team Mustard: Who Wins?

This was even funnier. My wife, daughters, and I had already decided on the color of Baju Raya for the first day of Raya which was purple. We told our siblings about it and we really thought that they are going to get along with the plan. I even bought my mom and pair of purple Baju Kurung and a purple tudung for my grandmother. But suddenly, our siblings betrayed us. They wanted to wear the mustard color Baju Raya! Since keterujaan untuk beraya tu agak terbantut dek kerana Raya yang tiba-tiba so my wife and I ikut sahajalah pakai baju color Mustard. Asalkan semua orang happy and the most important thing is we were celebrating Raya together. 

Tiba-tiba Dia Muncul!
